The Baptist convention of Malawi exists to facilitate effective cooperation of the Baptist Churches in Malawi and beyond as they advance the Kingdom of God across geographical, Cultural, Social, Economic, educational, religious and other barriers (Matthew 28:19-20)

The Baptist Convention of Malawi is dedicated to fostering a strong network of cooperation among Baptist Churches not only within Malawi but also extending its reach beyond borders. Through this collaboration, they endeavour to advance the kingdom of God, breaking through barriers imposed by geography, culture, social dynamics, economic disparities, educational limitations, as well as religious and other challenges. By transcending these obstacles, the Convention aims to create a unified force working tirelessly to spread the message of faith and love, making a meaningful impact across communities and nations.

Departments
The convention has departments with the goal of advancing the Kingdom of God. Each department consist of leadership that is God's Kingdom oriented.
